Gatineau Loppet: Don’t miss the greatest international cross-country ski event in Canada

An event awaited by all recreational and elite skiers, the Gatineau Loppet, an international cross-country ski competition, will take place from February 14 to 16, 2020 and will also feature snowshoe and snow bike races.

Recreational and elite skiers gather at the Gatineau Loppet event to cross the trails of Gatineau Park as part of this international cross-country ski competition. Nearly 2500 skiers of all ages and levels come together, the majority of whom come from the Outaouais region and Canada. Nearly 15% come from abroad, mainly from the United States but also from France, Finland, Germany, Norway, Russia and Japan.

The Gatineau Loppet will take place from February 14 to 16, 2020 inclusively. It will offer 8 cross-country ski races, 3 snowshoe races and 3 fat bike races. A meal is offered after the race and a ski show is organized during the weekend, the XC Ski Show.
